Arrival Story:
Kate was on her way to the pound and my sister called me hysterically at work about this poor poor dog, turns out Puppy was found stray in Indiana and the people that found her couldn’t keep her, as she is a maniac and tried to eat their pet rats. They gave her to their friend, a lady who was my sisters coworker at the time but she couldn’t keep her either as she soon found Mz. Puppy to be a maniac also. Needless to say it didn’t take long for Puppy to get the boot from her too as she was basically a demon puppy straight from the bowels of hell...so puppy was on the streets, homeless but she was too stupid to know it…..

Bio:
It was a beautiful day the day I met puppy, a day that will live forever in infamy, my sisters co worker and her husband got out of their car and my son who was 7 at the time and I waited in breathless anticipation as to what was soon to come. Puppy was in a cage in the car so it took a while….we waited and waited and then BAM!! Puppy blasted out of the little car and my son ran and got the leash they ran and ran and ran …..Fast, furious, giggling, laughing, brown, golden flashes of light the two of them…. adoring each other. I knew before she got out of the car she would be mine, I just knew. Truth be told, I didn’t see her face for hours, she moved so quickly. She was full grown but thin, skinny and hungry, my sisters coworker meant well but she didn’t feed her enough, when she gave me puppy she gave me her food too and it was only a 5 lb bag of chow, and she’s a moose! I immediately took her to the old crone, my mother who is wise in all things dog. She had a big fat old beef roast in the oven and her, her Sheppard Max my brother, my son and I initiated this hungry homeless mutt into the family that magical evening, I will remember it forever. Puppy and Max bonded immediately; they ran back and forth back and forth from one end of the house to the other, each time she returned she got a big fat piece of beef. My mother said, she knows its good here, she knows she’s made it good, they communicate……she’s been with us ever since
