Arrival Story:
I wanted a dog, preferably a cocker spaniel, and my husband wasn't too happy about the idea but he wanted to make me happy so he placed an ad in the buy sell bulletin for one and had it to where they would call while I was at work. Except the one day that I didn't go to work, a lady called and while my husband was telling me not to answer the phone, I did anyway and the lady had a cocker spaniel that she didn't have room for because she was moving. She said the dog had been abandoned and she had found her. So we went to get her and was suppose to meet the lady at a gas station not too far from her house. We ended up having a blow out and was stuck at another gas station and the lady came to us. So as we waited for a friend to come get us, we played with the dog. Her name was Sasha but we didn't like that so we pondered a name and finally decided to name her Kia, after the type of car the lady was driving because she was upset that she had to get rid of her. And she has lived happily ever after with us.
