She can sit, lay down, wait, stay, army crawl, shake, speak, and dry-off on command. you heard me.
Arrival Story:
I was working for a groomer at the time, and she was a clients dog. They found her when she was about 7 months old in a park, covered in mud and grossness. They kept her for about 9 months, and then decided that they didn't really want her. Which worked out best for her anyway, because the dad didn't like her, and her behavior indicated that he wasn't very nice to her. I can't believe anyone would let such a wonderful little dog go. She's absolutely awesome.
Bio:
She likes to ride the waverunner at the lake. She swears that she hates the water, but I know better. Also, she was diagnosed with something called Immune Mediated Thrombocytopenia (IMT or ITP). It basically means that her immune system kills her platelets, which she needs in order for her blood to clot. Through persistent and aggressive steroid treatment, she can eventually be put into remission. Her world is a little topsy-turvy for now, but is slowly coming back to normal. You would never know she is sick without the bloodwork.
