Pet-Peeves: not getting Doggy Treats when she does a trick correctly Favorite Toy: Her duck that squeeks Favorite Food: Meat Favorite Walk: Down to the beach where I let her off to run and play Best Tricks: Giving hugs or fetching Arrival Story: I have wanted a puppy for years, when a close family friend told us that she had go a puppy, and she told us that one of her puppy's sisters might be available. Mom and Dad told me when I came home from school on Halloween that I might have a puppy. I was so excited, when I came home from school two days later and she was huddles in the corner next to the garbage can. I didn't see her at first and asked dad if we had go the dog yet. Just teh, she walked over to me, and dad told me that that was teh first time that she had moved from that spot since she arrived. Bio: How Mistic Rain got her name:
I went to school and told a friend that I was getting a puppy and I couldn't decide on a name. So, that day in english class, we made a list of possible dog names,and the one that that we both like the most was Mistic. Hi Furends!
This is my first diary entry, even though I've been on dogster for a little while now, and I just want to say how happy I am to have a diary! *Woof!*
Anyway, today Mommy took me to the beach. I love the beach because Mommy let's me off my leash to run around, and I can bark at other dogs, BOL. When I meet other dogs at the beach though, I usually go stand behind Mom, and she thinks I'm scared of the other dogs, but I'm just warning them that she's my Mommy and not to mess with her, or they'll have to deal with me! Woof!
So, Mommy took me and my tennis ball (and some milk bones, yum!)to the beachs, because she THOUGHT that she was going to teach me to retrieve the ball, but she threw it, and it went in the water. I HATE water, so I wasn't going in to get may ball! I Got to stand there and watch Mommy go into the water in her jeans and sneakes while she got the ball. Then just four fun I decided to run into the water, and then come out and shake water all over her (then I put my wet paws on her legs, I'm not sure why I didn't get a milkbone for that BOL:)
Then Mom threw may ball again. This time she made sure that it didn't go into the water, so i charged after it and took it back and droped it at mom's feet. Mommy was amazed, since this was the first time she had attempted to make me fetch, and I did it perfectley! ha! I watched alot of movies! I know what dogs are supposed to do. Today fetching like regular dogs, tommorow I a all-star basket-ball player on Mommy's school's basket-ball team! BOL!
I guess I should tell you about myself too, since this is my first entry. Well as you already know, my name is Mistic. I am a six month old Black Lab German Shepard mix, with a little bit of Little River in me. I am mainly black, with brown streaked through my back and front legs and face, and I have a little white dot on my chest. I have the face of a Lab, and my body is lean and muscular like a shepard. Mommy loves playing with my ears because "they're so cute. They're to long to be Shepard ears, but perk up a little."
My favorite food is anything in a can, and Mommy says that everytime I get canned dog food, I act like I've never seen food before!

PS I almost forgot. I also taught myself another trick that mommy really likes.She'll kneel on the floor and I'll jump up, and wrap my paws around her kneck and lick her face. She loves it! *Woof!*
