Arrival Story:
Scarlett's first mom had to suddenly be put into a nursing home and none of her family wanted to take Scarlett. The first mom's Occupational Therapist is a friend of ours and called before the family took her to the shelter. She would have been tramatized beyond normal as she had very little socialization prior to comming home with us.

I am a diva and not afraid to let anyone know it. I am also a "drama queen" according to my mom. I fean helpless and weak so people will carry me. I really don't like to get my feet dirty. I have all my Aunties fooled because they always pick me up and carry me. I hate bad weather...to the point of not wanting to go outside to do my business if the wind is too strong...or too cold. Mom or dad hve to take me out individually and stand and wait for me. I'm not like any other "dog" my mom has ever had. I refuse to obey any command other than "come." Not even for prime rib...and I haven't been fed. I will run and hide under the bed and pout...for hours...or days. How dare they ask me to do something for food.
