Arrival Story:
Hello pup pals, My name is Rico. I'm an APBT or APBT mix. Life for me now is awesome, thanks to wonderful people out there. It wasn't always that way. I started my life with some bad people. They didn't love me or feed me the way I'm fed now! One day when I was about 12 weeks old and very afraid they were dragging me down the street. I was so tired and scared I couldn't go any further. My poor little paws were bleeding from being dragged. This amazing couple came up to the boys and offered them $50 to take me away. Thank goodness the kids agreed. The nice couple couldn't keep me but took me to the Humane Society to find a new home. Unfourtenatley the Humane Society couldn't except me b/c I'm a Pit Bull whatever that means. But a nice lady at the desk took me home and called Mutts and Stuff Rescue group. When the nice lady at Mutts and Stuff got me she took me to the Vet. They said I was underfed, had worms, a skin condition, bite marks, my paws were messed up AND that the mean people had tried to crop my tail by sticking a rubber band around it. It had to be staple shut to let the wound heal. YUCKY! But they got me ALL fixed up. After that I went to live with my new foster mom, Laura. She was super nice and had two other APBTs that I loved. I enjoyed life there with her for about 7 months. I am so greatfull that she took me in. She found some people she thought would be good for me. We went to meet them and thats where I live now. Chad and Julie are my people. They are GREAT! We go on walks every day. I have more toys than I can count on my paws. They even let me sleep in their bed. They love to take me every where. Family events, parks, rollerbladding and I even go to work with Dad a few days a week. My new life is great. I am so thankful to the people who got me here. So I try to be the best dog I can. I listen well, I'm nice to other dogs, people and I LOVE kitties. I never ever potty in the house. As long as I get my walks and a few games of fetch now and then I'm a happy very good boy. Thats what my people say. They love to show me off and give me lots of love. Rico

Be sure to check out my Aunt Bella! She can be the bossy mothering aunt but I sure do love her. I think Uncle Kong is coming soon to Dogster too! He's playful and goofy. I love days when I get to go hang with them.

They are the dobies I'm friends with. Bella is a black n tan and Kong is a red n rust. They are my favorite pup pals.
