Arrival Story:
I had stopped to buy treats for our other (3) dogs, started to pull out of the parking spot, & suddenly decided to see if the Humane Society president was in. My husband & I had been talking about making a donation, & I decided today would be the day. They were very busy, & I was told she was currently with a client, but while I was waiting I must see what someone brought in the day before! It turned out to be a purebred Golden Retriever puppy, just 3 mos. old! I am not one to do things on a whim, but I had to call my husband & convince him that we should at least foster him. Long story short, Dukie had his 1 year birthday just a few days ago!
