Arrival Story:
BJ was found wandering on a busy city street by a co-worker - she was about 3 years old. Because I had other basset hounds she called me for help. I'd only planned to have her for 2 weeks while I found her a permanent home...that was 7 years ago. She is so happy now, and I don't know what I'd do without her.

Bio:
June 2007 Update: Sadly, BJ said goodbye June 9, 2007, at the age of 10. A massive, inoperable tumor had taken over her lungs and actually displaced her heart. My vet was so kind. She went to sleep with her sweet head in my lap. The last thing she heard was me snorting at her. It was our signal: I'd snort and she'd start wagging her tail because she knew we were going to romp. I miss you, sweet girl.
