Arrival Story:
My old dog passed away and after 2 weeks of being dogless, I HAD to start looking for a new companion. I found Gabby at the CT Humane Society, she was one of a few rescues brought up from Georgia. (there was another spotted dog with longer legs and a couple of years older) She was so sweet leaning up against the bars to get some petting. That all changed when we got her in the 'interview' room for a visit. She was sitting in laps, jumping up on the table and sniffing around like crazy. She still is very energetic and I think she will never master the slow walk across the kitchen floor. She seems to prefer the scrambling slides when making her way to the door.

Bio:
I was told that her mix is popular down south. She has one brown eye and one blue eye, merle spotting and even her tan is mottled with spots. For some reason her tail was docked to a little nub. My little southern belle who's no lady. She is my delightful ray of sunshine.
