Renaissance Romp

Oh my gosh so the other day, the craziest thing happened!!! Mommy woke me up really early, then got on some funny fancy clothes and put me, Daddy, and my little brother Buddy in the car. I asked Buddy if he knew what was going on, but he had no clue. I like car rides ok, but I hadn't been on one with Buddy in a long time, and never one that LONG! We were in the car for EVER! And Buddy wouldn't even play with me! Every time I'd wake him up Mommy told me to stop, and made me go up and sit by her. That was ok I guess, but I don't like to hold still very long in the car.

So just when I thought we were never going to stop driving, we came to a funny place. It was a great big field with lots of cars, and even more people dressed in funny clothes like Mom. Her and Dad got me and Buddy out of the car, put us on leashes, and brought us to the most amazing place! She said it was the Ren-uh-Son-See or something. It was So COOL! There were other dogs, and people, and all kinds of fun smells and the FOOD! Oh don't get me started! Turkey legs, soup in bread, cheese, biscuits, and these little muffin things that were the BEST! Buddy wouldn't eat them, so I took his share.

We walked and walked all day, and sometimes Mommy carried me. I was sort of sad because she made me wear my stupid goggles, but EVERYONE wanted to talk to ME! That would have been ok, but I would have rather just smelled all the smells and eaten all the food by myself. I don't need all those silly humans looking at me and stuff. It was kind of fun though, they all took pictures and said I looked cool. And with Buddy next to me, none of the other dogs dared make a comment about my goggles. Not that I NEED his help, but it was nice.
