Arrival Story:
I met Artemis's mom before he was born as I discussed with her guardian what I was looking for. I needed a very special dog, for a very special person in my life. I come seeking a shepherd because I had one in my life when I was young and it was some of my fondest memories. I once again found myself in a position in my life in which I needed the aura and strength of the GSD once more. My son has Asperger's Syndrome, so social interaction and changes in his schedule upset him and cause him to shut down. He doesn't have as many problems at home when he spends time around my chinese crested, the presents of the dog calms him and makes things easier for him to deal. But Sacred was not up for such an intense job, being almost 8yrs old and only 6lbs, so I found myself sitting in a car driving 4hrs from home heading to Camelot shepherd kennels. After many months of talking Angie had finally found the perfect pup for us. When we arrived at her home, she walking into the puppy room and produced the fluffiest black and tan ball of fur I had ever seen also the biggest for only 7weeks weighing in at 11.5 lbs. A couple of car sick episodes later and we were all safely home and beginning our journey together into relatively new territory.
