Arrival Story:
I found Joey at the local pound. He was already an adult and very skinny with a big bandage on his neck. Someone had left a choke chain on him and it cut his neck open. His is all better now and is one of the happiest dogs I know.

Bio:
Joey had a rough start in life but it doesn't seem to affect his behavior towards people, other animals or new places. He is a quick learner and trusts me to take him into new situations. Joey is also a registered therapy dog and loves to go visit nursing homes. He also is part of a R.E.A.D program where little kids will come to the library or after school program and read to him! he is a very good boy!
