Making sure that you don't stop petting her. She grumbles and taps you with her paw if you stop. She also has killed a mole, and she didn't eat it, or bring it in the house, but just left it on the deck so we could know she's a skilled hunter.

Arrival Story:
We adopted Mackenzie through Norwegian Elkhound Rescue, a fantastic group. She's an angel. We drove to Indiana twice to adopt her (once so she could meet sister Cleo), but she would be worth a drive to California! Everyone who meets her loves Mackenzie.

Bio:
Hi! My name is Mackenzie, but my new Mom and Dad call me Kenzie for short. I used to be wandering around as a stray, but the nice people with Norwegian Elkhound Rescue found me, fixed my heartworms, took great foster care of me, and got me a new forever home. Can you believe my former family let a cutie like me get away? Well, my new Mom and Dad seemed pretty excited to meet me, and so far I like my new home just fine. I get to play outside and inside--wherever my people are. My new sister is OK too, but she sure is hyper sometimes! I'm going to have to teach her a thing or two about just chilling out.
