Arrival Story: Spike was just 2 days old when i first saw him. My bf (at the time) knew some ppl that had pups. I grew up in the dog show world so i have seen many newborn pups..BUT chis take the cake. As small as a bic lighter!! OMG! soo small, well i saw my now spike grow into this tiny cute pup-1 week-3 weeks-6 weeks..We stopped by this one day and there was one pup left. I clipped his nails and set him on the floor, well this tiny little pup(my "spike"); came to me and came to me i'd pick him up and play with him; then set him down again..When we got ready to leave he ran over and laid on my foot and looked at me with sad eyes..Like "i am suppose to go with u, please? i picked him up under his arms and he wagged his tail and kissed my nose. i was hooked, we were going to an outside concert that weekend and ended up taking him with us..And that is how i because this very special chi's guardian
Bio: spike became my service dog in 2002
I have trained me in OB and done a little agility with him
chi's will DO anything u are willing to train them too do!!
HE also LOVES going to Pagan rituals with me!

yesterday was the worst day of my life!
I got yet another brother.. he is a Collie with LOTS of hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mom says he is my replacemnt, so she can retire me.. and so i can be a happy chihuahua.. WHAT DOES THAT SUPPOSE TO MEAN! my replacement? AM i going somewhere??
I don't want to go anywhere! I love my family! i love being with them!
I don't understand! OOPS mom is coming got to leave!
WELL its winter again. Febuary in Maine. Snow, ice, cold.. whats worse is our furnce died.. poor us! With NO help!!!! mom and dad talk, dad says he makes to much money to get state, town, or federal help. WE do have this hot this that sits in our play space now, mom and dad call it a woodstove. they put wood in and heat comes out. Best thing about it is, IT doesn't bother my ears.. NO sores, no more ouchy ears.. but when i wake up its COLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Daddy carries LOTS of sticks into the house.. boy don't they look fun to play with sometimes.. but, mom says NO!!!
My stupid, smelly, hairy brother is just a pest!!! I wish I was still the only dog.. I wish mom and dad could have help having a human .. i'd love to have a human brother or sister instead of Digger...
WE are going on a HUGE ATVing trip in July.. best thing is DIGGER can't go.. the stupid thing jumps off when mom or dad are driving.. I know better just to sit in my box with mjy Doggles and Helmet, and enjoy the ride..
