Life with the new baby...

Well, now there's an even smaller ankle biter running around the house...and he's biting at my ankles too! He has been here for almost two weeks. Momma gives him special food that she tries to keep me from eating. I sneak bites every now and then though...Can't let him get all the good stuff! I like that his legs are so short because when he starts bugging me I can jump up on the couch or the bed to get away and he can't follow me. I do like him though...I feel like I'm a role model. It's kinda funny watching him trying to do some of the things I do. I'm working on teaching him how to "pounce"...He can't quite get both paws to land at the same time though so it's funny. I get a little jealous sometimes because Momma holds the baby alot, but he's really tiny...I know that she still loves me the most cuz I was her first baby! Besides, he doesn't get to cuddle in bed with us! Speaking of bed, Momma said it's time for sleepy...so I guess I better go jump in bed now...

What fun!!!

Tonight when my momma got home we played and had so much fun and I started learning a new trick. Momma has these flip flops that I have claimed as my own. They don't look quite the same anymore so she doesn't wear them anymore. I like to carry them around and momma decided that it would be fun and "educational" to play with the flip flops. She says "sit" and like a good boy I do. Then she throws the flip flop and says "fetch". I'm still learning that fetch means that once I have the flip flop in my mouth I bring it back to her to do it all over again. I try to make her fetch it from me. See, I'm changing the rules on her! She must be very proud of me because she kept petting me and telling me that I'm such a good boy. I like that attention so I think I'll keep it up! I wonder what I will learn next??

A Day In The Life

I just love the weekends! My mommy gets to sleep late so I can cuddle with her longer and then I get to wake her up with kisses instead of that noisy alarm clock! Then we get to hang out at the house and I get to make messes with my toys and whatever I can get my teeth on so my mommy won't get bored. I keep her pretty busy. Sometimes we go to Pet Supplies Plus to meet doggie friends and buy me good stuff. I usually get lots of love and attention because everyone thinks I'm sooooo adorable! If they only knew how much trouble I can cause if she would only let me down. Well, I'm off to go look at the window and bark at the invisible people and sounds...
