Arrival Story:
I picked Carson up from our local Animal Control. He is so young he had no fear or shyness. He had no idea or understanding of what serious trouble he was in there. I brought him home and gave him a very needed bath and fed him. He was so hungry! He settled into his clean bed and took a very long nap. I guess the quiet and being full and clean had him content. My heart goes out to him because he is one of the many "Throw Away" type dogs. Nothing special about his looks, and because he is black he will be harder to place. He is a good baby and is safe now. He deserves to live just as much as any other!
Bio:
Carson is the name given him at the pound. I like the name so I kept it for him. He is solid black with some brown at the tips of his fur in some areas, that, I expect will fade in the weeks to come. His fur is SO SOFT. It feels like duck down. Puppy fur. :) His ears stand up and his tail is not too long and it curls over his back. Maybe he has Pug in him? I hope I get to see him when he is grown up. His eyes are blue/black and he is a sweet happy puppy. I do not know the circumstances of him being at the pound and it really doesn't matter. I will help him have a good life.

Carson's family came by Petsmart to say hello to us a few weeks ago. He is such a handsome boy now. He is sleek and shines like glass. he is a nice size. Not chunky but no way skinny. He is probably 30 pounds. He turned out to be handsome and sweet. He didn't remember us he was too young when he was adopted. He loves his family. I am happy.

I spoke with Carson's Mom this am. He is doing fine. She said he has chewed his share of pens and pencils and a newspaper TV guide section BUT they were not upset and are most positivly going to keep him. He has a good. She said he is happy, playful, gets along with his big sister dog and loves to cuddle. Good Boy Carson.

My REAL Mom went to visit my foster Mom today. She had to pick up my worm med. from her and my heart worm preventative. They had a nice visit. My Mom brought her a gift of some hand crafted soaps she made. My Mom is very wise and pretty too. She is really informed about animals. She is an awesome Mom for me. I love my big sister. We played last night until we were exhausted. I am very happy in my new home and so far my family loves me too. I hope my friends Rose, Cagney and Harry will find a good home like I did. I'm going to say puppy prayers for that. I never knew I could be so happy. I will pray they get a family with a boy like mine to love them and play with them. It's a wonderful life!
