Arrival Story:
My mom took me in because my old mom couldn't keep me anymore. Her husband didn't like me and wanted her to get rid of me. I had behavior problems which included barking at everything, peeing on the floor and snapping at these human brats that came over and irritated me. They aggravated me but I'm the one that had to have a new home. Go figure. That's okay because my forever mom said those kids were brats and it wasn't my fault. So, back in 2003 I came to live with my new mom. I still bark but only when I have reason and no mean kids are allowed to mistreat me.

I am an 8+ year old cocker spaniel that loves playing in the backyard. I love playing ball or just running around with mom and my little big sister Aria. Okay, let me explain. Aria was my little sister for awhile but now she grew and she's twice as tall as me. She's an APBT and tries to bully me but I fool her ---I just walk right under her belly.

I also have two cat brothers that live with us. They are cool cats though. We all have an understanding---they don't bother me and I don't bother them. They are pretty neat to sleep next to because they are warm.

I attended obedience training when I first came to live here. I am pretty good at listening and doing what I'm supposed to. I'm older now so once in a while I forget but mom reminds me and I get back on the right track.

Hey, check out this pawsome group I'm in. BSL hasn't really affected our breed too much but who knows when it will be at our doorstep. http://www.dogster.com/group/Million_dog_march-12701

Mom is just now getting around to starting my diary. I am the oldest canine fur child in the house and enjoy bossing the youngsters around. I don't get into doing a lot of the nonsense that the youngsters do but I do enjoy chasing balls and playing with toys. Except those squeaky ones. That thing that makes them squeak just has to go as soon as a new toy comes in the house. My job is to de-squeak them. Once I get that noisy thing out the pups can have them cause my job is done.
I am the barker of the house too. I bark at the mailman, the delivery man, the neighbors, wind, thunder and anything else that I can find to bark at. Sometimes I just bark to be barking cause it's fun. Guess I do a good job because the other two just watch me. They don't bark very often and that's okay cause mom says I am loud enough that we don't need them barking.
