Arrival Story:
Found her picture on petfinder.com. We had just lost our Chow to cancer. We couldn't go without a dog. We had decided to rescue a dog from the pound and were wanting to find a terrier mix who was a couple of years old since puppies always find homes easier. She was at a pound in a town about 45 miles away. Her picture on the website looked kind of scroungy. They even called her "Shaggy" and she looked it. But the people at the pound groomed her right before we got there and she looked beautiful- we were amazed!

Bio:
Somebody evidently didn't want her anymore because she was pregnant. She had puppies at the pound who also found homes. She is a wonderful, sweet dog. Always happy to see us and loves people. She always looks like she is smiling when she looks at people. Honey has beautiful long strawberry-blonde hair which is why we named her Honey.
