Arrival Story:
My son Donald works with a mother and daughter who had a litter of 2 pups that needed homes and offered one to my son. He brought home the first one (Shadow) and later was given Tippy when her new home fell through. Shadow is darker than Tippy. She has a tip of white on the end of her tail (also, my parents had a dog named Tippy, she was 17 or 18 when she passed on).
Bio:
Tippy is the more dominant of the two dogs. She seems to have more German Shepherd in her, while Shadow has more Lab. Her mom was a 90 pound Lab and her dad a 100 pound German Shepherd. Tippy tips the scales at 51 pounds, hopefully that is where she will stay.

Thanksgiving Delights

Wow, imagine my surprise when I received a rosette from someone named anonymous and inside I found out that it was from Loki and I had been named the Spotlight Fur of the Week for The Dog Park USA!!

I have been busy reminding everyone here at home that I AM in the SPOTLIGHT!! Some can be so hard-headed at times (LUKE)!! Hey I don't know if he can read a calendar, perhaps I will just let him think that I am still in the Spotlight for a while longer!! Should not be too hard to confuse him. There he is -- smiling again!! He can get away with so much just because of that smile. *pouts!!
I have gotten off track, thanks again to The Dog Park USA, you are the BEST!! *HUGE SMILE*

Shadow was invited to the Kit Kat Klub and I wasn't. I don't know why she would be and not me. I guess I will have to think about that. Maybe I'm not friendly enough, I try to be, I'm just not easy to get to know. I am the older sis and I like to boss and the others just don't appreciate that. Maybe I'll get invited to something soon. Maybe. :)Tippy
