I AM DOTD!!

What a wonderful surprise. When Mom made it home, I had a rose from the Kirk Family saying Congratulations!! Mom checked and there I was on the home page!! I am Diary of the Day!! The first time I have EVER received an honor like this. I also have a special picture that Redford and his Sweet family made for me!!
I feel like a princess floating on a cloud right now!! Thanks Mom for the extra treats!!

October's Party

October's Party

October gave a party;
The leaves by hundreds came—
The Chestnuts, Oaks, and Maples,
And leaves of every name.
The Sunshine spread a carpet,
And everything was grand,
Miss Weather led the dancing,
Professor Wind the band.

The Chestnuts came in yellow,
The Oaks in crimson dressed;
The lovely Misses Maple
In scarlet looked their best;
All balanced to their partners,
And gaily fluttered by;
The sight was like a rainbow
New fallen from the sky.

Then, in the rustic hollow,
At hide-and-seek they played,
The party closed at sundown,
And everybody stayed.
Professor Wind played louder;
They flew along the ground;
And then the party ended
In jolly "hands around."

Tessa

I have made a new friend on Catster/Dogster; her name is Tessa and she has just sent me a funny pic. It is so cute; a cat dressed like a clown (some of the felines here like to clown around, but are never that cute). Tessa is a ragdoll feline and she really fits the role of doll. I am happy to meet someone new. :) Shadow

I'm Sad

Tonight I was invited to the Kit Kat Club and it was too late for me when I got the invite. It was for 9:00 pm my time and I wasn't online until after 10:00. Man, my first invite and I miss it. It would be nice to do something without Tippy and Luke. They are always with me. Some days Luke and I are buddies, then the next its Tippy and I. I seem to get along with everyone (at different times) and they just don't seem to get along. So I get to be the go between. I'd enjoy a break. So maybe next time I will get my invite in time to go. :) Shadow

Sometimes those two really get on my last nerve. There are days that Luke and I are best buds. We will share each other's feeders, play with each other and then out of the blue he will start growling at me. Usually this happens when Donald or mommie is outside. They say that he is doing it for attention. That might be true. When they talk to him, he stops. I just want to pull his ear when he starts that and sometimes I do just that. :) Shadow
