Rocky was about to be given up to the Toronto Humane Society by his owner as he was apparently moving and could not take Rocky with him. Fortunately a cousin of ours worked there and was able to send the owner back out to our place. Rudy and Rocky met, got along great and he came home that night. He is the crazy one in the family now.

Well, he did it again!!... Damian (my non-fur brother), just will not leave me alone for a moment's peace. Why you taught him to climb on the couch is beyond my canine reasoning. Yeah, I know he's a sweet kid and all but my the ear pulling and belly poking is just 'out of control'. I think a little dog body checking is in order !!

Wow, I can't wait for all of this snow to melt so that Mom can take me and Rudy for some walks. I really miss all my pals in the offleash park. I've even got used to walking next to this contraption they call a stroller. Even though it has tried to attack me on a number of occasions.

Today I lost one of my best friends... Oscar. Mom adopted him from the local shelter when he was just a year old and he lived for almost 17 years. I know he was sick and could tell that he wasn't going to get any better. He wouldn't play very well anymore and all he wanted to do was sleep. Then he took a turn for the worse and a very kind vet came over to the house. We weren't allowed to be in the room but after Mom just came over and hugged us and told us how much she loved us. She told us that Oscar went peacefully in her arms as she rocked him, sitting next to the Christmas tree.
