I am NOT a bad dog!

Lassie has nothing on me!

I can fetch the newspaper off the driveway and bring it in but I will only do it for mom and not for dad. After all, she is the Food Lady and deserves special treatment. Am I right?

I'm almost a good dog!

Okay, so I ate the carpet in the basement but that was kind of an accident. Don't ask me how eating the carpet in the basement is an accident because it's very complicated. Since the new carpet came, I have been perfect. It was about time we got new carpet anyway. The parents should be thanking me.

We've gone to two dog parks and I was very popular with people and other dogs. Some were a little rough but I handled it just fine. Lucky was kind of a wimp, though. I think he's scared of hurting his hip again.

This is my first Thanksgiving coming up and I think I get to eat all the turkey I want. I think I want a turkey of my very own.

I'm getting boring now that I don't get it trouble so much. I'll see what I can do about that.

Mom and dad were watching tv the other night which I think is a HUGE waste of time when they could be playing Tug with me or taking me for a walk. I went out into the back yard to look around for a suitable present and found something interesting. Mom was the first to notice me standing proudly with a big cucumber in my mouth. She thanked me nicely so yesterday, I started to bring her green tomatoes. She doesn't think I am so funny anymore. The rules are getting more and more complicated.
