Arrival Story:
Higbee came from the Forsyth County pound. I went down to see if our barn kitty was there (he wasn't) and the girl working the front asked if I knew anyone who could take a dog. They had this really great dog that had already stayed longer than he was supposed to. Since they had an influx of animals after a hurricane blew through, they no longer had room for him. He was literally walking down to get the shot to euthanize him when I said I would take him! She went and stopped them, and brought Higbee down the hall to me. I was delighted to see he was a large dog. I planned to find a home for him, but knew right away that he was my dog forever. He has been truely a gift from God! He has a wonderful personality, and everyone that meets him loves him almost as much as I do!

Higbee is wonderful. He supervised the building of my house. He didn't allow anyone to slack off on a day's work. He loves to ride in the truck, and knows to stay close when he goes somewhere off leash. He is great with kids, and loves meeting people. Everyone smiles when they are around Higbee!
