Arrival Story:
I had wanted a Yorkie for a very long time, but up until recently, never had the time for one. Having recently married and moved; my life had finally calmed down enough for a furbaby. Orginally, we were in process of adopting an older female Yorkie from a local shelter, but were devasted to find out that she had a brain tumor that would cost several thousands to treat. Sadly, we had to end the adoption process. I had stopped looking for a dog after this...when my Mother-in-law called and said she wanted to buy me a Yorkie puppy. At first, I asked her not to, but she insisted she was just going to "look". She found Xavier and fell in love with him. After her describing him to me, I fell in love too!
