Well, my owner (KALI, TEN YEARS OLD), was putting on her snow stuff, and I knew she was going to go play with me. Soooooo.......I sat by the door. And sat. And sat. And sat. It took her forever to put those stinking boots on! She should have pads on her feet like me! Anyways, she was opening the door (AFETR ALL THAT PUTTING ON OF THE SNOW STUFF), and we jumped two stairs down the porch and started tackling each other in the snow and climbing on snow piles! We ran and played and finally went exploring to her...I mean OUR secret fort! It's down by the woods with two slanted trees next to each other and started to explore. She ran out of it after a while and I followed with extra speed and fled full speed by her into the neighbors yard because I heard something. SHe ran afetr me yelling, "KOTA! KOTA! COME BACK!" And I came back alright. But I decided to shake things up a little bit so I ran past her and took her glove off and she ran afetr me and we had so much fun! Ha ha ha! It was a fun adventure. Today I got special droppings from the table. Hee hee hee! See you later, Everybody! AND THANK-YOU!

In heat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm in heat! My owners have been finding blood on the floor so therefore I'm in heat which means I'm having my period which means that I can have puppies soon! Not too soon because if I'm too young I will not take care of them but they'll be so cute because if I do have puppies I will have puppies with my little owners aunts dog named Keko and he is a Siberian Husky and he has beautiful blue eyes and interesting marks on his face and there will probably be white puupies and some will have brown eyes or blue eyes and kinds of different markings. But the sad thing is that I can't go outside because my owner told me that males know if I'm in heat! Well, I'll talk later! BYE BYE!

The Storm!

Okay............last night there was a storm. I was sitting outside and all of a sudden, the wind picked up and and we have a gravel driveway, so dust was blowing here and there and I started chasing it. I was out far from the house and then the 10 year old kid got me back. Then it started raining, HARD! The hard rain was coming from the back of the house, and when I turned the corner, a big gust of wind and rain hit me and when I got in the garage, I was soaked. The kid did it too! So she was soaked too, and we did it again and again. She seemed excited, I mean, what's the big deal? It's just rain, I thought, then I heard thunder and saw lightning. SCARY! I started barking, and then Annie got out and BOY WAS SHE SCARED! I chased her and we started playing, but then, LIGHTNING! She ran in the house soaked and I stayed out in the rain until it stopped, then we went inside. What a fun night!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Tucking me in at night.

Last night, I got tucked in my my mommy. First, she grabbed one of my stuffed animals, snuggled it up next to me, and started singing a soothing song as she sat next to my bed with me in it. I sleep in the garage and I have this indoor/outdoor carpet that my toy and bones are scattered on and my bed is in the middle of it. Then she kissed me as if I were her child, she said good-night, and turned off the garage lights, and left me there. I got up after she left, and stood at the shut door in the dark room. SCARY! I started whimpering and scratching at the door. Poor me. Kali (my stepmommy) opened the door and I came charging in, too scared to look back and they had to chase me down and I slipped out of their grip a few times, but they eventually caught me, and I was sent to the garage. And they never opened the garage door again, no matter how much I whimpered and whined! Ha ha ha! Funny story, right?

Love,

ME! Dakota Bone Moy! I ROCK! Thank you for listening..........or reading I should say.

My Favorite Dog Breed!

My favorite dog breed is, ALASKAN MALAMUTE OF COURSE! But my owner says (no offence) that she likes BEAGLES better than Alaskan Malamutes. Well, I do jump on her and stuff........and tackle her.........and bite....and you get the point, BUT THAT'S NO REASON TO SAY THAT! Is it? I guess I should settle down. Sometimes if I sit down too long, I get ants (fleas) in my pants (fur) and I have to get up and play, and I know what you're thinking, that's not a reason to tackle, but I can't help it! I'm a puppy that doesn't know her own strength! What else can I say! But if I don't tackle her, she'll like Alaskan Malamutes better than Beagles! Yes! That is my plan! Mwahahaha, Mwahahaha! Do I sound evil to you right now. I think I sound evil right now, like a criminal or something, no, no, now I sound like a freak. No, I think I should quit talking now!!!!!!! Bye! Enjoy the Summer, Everyone!

Rain, rain, stay and play!

I had sooooooooooooooooo much fun playing in the rain today! It's raining today and boy, do I love that cold water! You see, to me, in the summer, it's like having a winter coat on..........in the summer! You should have seen me! I rolled in the mud and had a blast! I have a very wet coat of fur today. The only thingI hate about this thunder storm, IS THE THUNDER and cracks of lightning............and it's real dark, so it's hard to see on this gloomy day! I got in trouble for going on the bed. The only reason that I can't go on the bed is because I have ticks and fleas and when I can't hold it any longer, I pee. One time, a while back, the big dude scared me half to death.........and I got so scared that I peed! They didn't blame me though. They blamed the dude that scared me! Lucky me! I call the big dude (the dad: age 42)Head Leader of Pack! The big duddette (the mom: age 42) I call the Second Paw. The little bit smaller duddette (big sister: age 22)...........I call her Third Paw of Justice. I call the way small duddette (the kid: age 10) foodgiver. Good names, huh? I guess I could change them. I had to be bottle fed because my mommy, my REAL mommy had a sickness and she couldn't feed us her milk, so I had to be bottle fed when I was little, same with all my brothers and sisters! I miss them. Well, this has been a proud message by......................
music, please.............LA TA TA DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA...........

I want to thank everyone for all my rosettes and gifts and bones! I am very thankful and my mommy is proud of me for being Dog of the Day.
Here are some Dog Facts and Myths. Can you tell which ones are Myths and which ones are facts?

1.A cold, wet nose indicates good health.

2. Feeding a dog garlic or brewers yeast repels fleas.

3.Dogs eat grass when they are sick or have a worm.

4.Dogs see only in black and white.

5.To give your dog a healthy, shiny coat of fur, feed it raw egg.

6.Before being spayed, a female should go through at least one heat cycle or be allowed to have one litter.

7.Dogs heal their wounds by licking them.

8.Dogs eat feces--either their own or another animal's--because they lack certain nutrients.

9.Certain breeds, such as Poodles, are hypoallergenic.

10.A wagging tail means a happy dog.

A normal canine body tempurature ranges from 101 to 103 degrees; however, veterinarians (vets) agrees a dog may still have a cold wet nose while running a tempurature of 105 degrees!

I think I played too rough....... - By: Dakota

because the I was rough housing with the ten year old kid and I was just play biting her (I mean how else do I play) so, I was biting her....play biting.......and she had wetness going through her eyes after. I felt sorry. I kept wondering about the wetness coming out of her eyes, plus I got kicked out and I do not like getting kicked out. So, since then I try not to play to rough, well, didn't work out very much. I was toppling her tackling.......I thought it was fun..........I could tell she was mad and frusterated and was about to hit me but I dodged just in time and she hit the floor with a 'thud'! I jumped and was having so much fun that I couldn't help myself and I started biting and I couldn't stop..........since I'm a pup it's hard to controll myself. So I jumped up and she pushed me away and ran ou of the room with wetness, again. What is that wetness? I started to follow her to see if maybe, just maybe she'll tell her mom about that wetness in her big brown eyes. I started to follow but she shut the door on me and locked me out of the room. Grrrrrrrrrrrr! I went to play with bigger dude ( 'cause he rough houses too!) And she kind of was careful about me a while. I don't even know my own strengnth anymore. I get stronger, so I have to be a little more careful. Well, nice talking to y'all! I enjoyed speaking to you! XOXOXO! Licks, Dakota Bone Moy. BYE!

The Potty-Training! By: Dakota

Uh-oh! I did it again! I have to get this straight! No peeing or pooping on the floor! You've got to be kidding me! I can't do that! It is really hard to be a puppy, I mean I don't get want they want me to do. I pee and they punish me, but only inside......hmmmmmmmmmmm.......what could that mean? I have no clue yet but I'm going to catch on soon! There talking about getting a new dog, a male puppy. Also, they punish me when I play, but the parts when I bite as we play they punish me. I still don't get it. And they also have this long rope and they attach it to my collar. I hate that thing! It doesn't go where I want it to go! I have to start getting what they want me to do. I want a playmate so bad. The 10 years old kid is good, but not good enough! I need that male puppy they keep talking about! I dearly wish for a playmate. My days are long and harsh. (Not so much.......I mean I stay in my crate for 7 or more hours while the kid is at school and the bigger dudette and the bigger dude are at work.) I try not to get into trouble, and pee and poop in the house, and rough house too hard, and bite people, and squeak my toy too loud, and, well, you get the point! But that's all too hard for a small little puppy like me to do! (I like the weekends but I'll try not to change the subject.) I get bored easily since I'm a puppy, so I need a campanion......you know! I'm a husky, a pretty, beautiful, cute husky at that! And some sugar and a cherry to top it off! Not to change the subject but that made me hungry! Looks like the kids calling for me.......and hope she doesn't see where I peed in the living room! Well, it was nice talking to ya, I'll see all of you later!

Yours truly, Dakota Bone Moy!

P.S. I like my middle name........which reminds me............
