Arrival Story:
I wanted a second dog to trial and a companion for Copper. When we got our own house, I started on the hunt. This time I went to a reputable breeder and found this little black girl. She has really begun to show potential in so many avenues and everyday is an adventure with her.

Bio:
Tikka is a member of the Lakedell Mighty Mutts and has been introduced to agility and to freestyle, and she is showing promise in both areas. Her favorite obstacle are the weave poles and she surely will give those border collies a run for their money. She will probably start trialing next summer now that she has her health clearances. OFA has certified her hips as EXCELLENT and her elboes as NORMAL!!! CERF has her eyes certifried as NORMAL! WOOHOO! It sure pays to do your homework when looking for your breeder! She also seems to love freestyle obedience and can do some amazing tricks with very little effort on my part to teach her. She will do absolutely anything to try and get me to throw a ball for her. This year she is going to start to learn what it means to be a retriever and will get to experience a duck hunt. With her enthusiasm, I'm sure the trip is going to be very exciting!
