Bio:
I only had Ranger for two weeks before he passed away from a severe worm infestation, anemia and malnutrition and possibly a liver shunt; so I didn't have a lot of time with him or to do much with him, but I wanted to include him because he was much loved and a part of my family while he was here. It broke my heart when he died. I knew he was probably going to since the day I had him and it was hard to watch him suffer like that, and even harder to have made the decision to have him put to sleep; only to be spared from having to do it because he passed away first. He was in this condition when I got him and although I and several vets did everything they could for him, he was too sick to be saved. I'm not glad he's gone but I'm glad he's in a place where he's not hurting anymore. He was a very sweet and loving puppy and was playful on the days he was feeling well enough to play. I remember one time when I had him on the bed with me giving him a puppy biscuit to eat, the bag fell over and he ignored the treat I had in my hand and dove into the bag instead. It was so cute and funny to see because as small as he was and as big as the bag was, he fit almost all the way inside it. All I could see of him was his little butt and tail poking out.
