a day at the dog park

I need to write more....

To all my pup pals on dogster, I just wanted to say how sorry my sister and I are for not being good pup pals and writing more often. I would seem that my mommy and daddy are really busy with doing stuff around our house and fixing things, then they get tired and collapse on the couch. Not that I mind, cause that just means that we get to snuggle with them and we like to do that. Abbie and I usually end up camped out on their laps and trapping them on the couch until we are ready to get up and go outside. Sometimes we just get up and start howling at each other. Mommy and Daddy think that is very funny most times, but sometimes, Mommy will be doing homework, or Daddy will be watching a movie, and I think that they don't like it so much then. But then we just look at them with our little puppy eyes, and then they melt like butter on the stove, and then they usually give us treats!!!! Sometimes even treat from Caninos, the doggie bakery that they take us to at least a couple of times a month. We love Caninos, cause the owners always really spoil us with new treats that they are trying out. We lilke helping them try out new treats!!!! They are always soooooo yummy.

Anywho... Just wanted you all to know that we are still alive and barking, so drop us a line, and if you are in the area, maybe we will meet at the Chesapeake City Park for a howlin good time!!

Hi Everyone
Just a quick update on myself. I have been doing fine. I am also getting better at my training. I know this because mommy and daddy let me go upstairs and stay with them for a few minutes at a time. They have also let me out of my kennel for a few hours when they are away. It is awesome to have free roam of the house. I am just worried that Abbie doesn't understand the greatness of the situation I have worked so hard to get. I am afraid she will poop somewhere and then ruin it for us both!!! I have to keep an eye on her so she won't screw it up.
We haven't been to the park in a while but mommy says she will make it up to us soon. Something about being busy with school and finals and whatever else she does. i don't know exactly but I do know she isn't home as much and that makes me sad. I shall try to be a good beagle and not dissapoint her. She said it shouldn't last much longer anyways.
I am excited right now because she says her daddy is coming to town. IT will be the first time I get to meet my grandparents. I heard they are nice people and I even heard mommy on the phone telling him all the things that I like. So I am pretty sure I am going to like these people. They are going to bring me toys and food!!!! Well I shall write again later.

just and update...

Hi Everyone
I am just letting all my pup pals know that things are good here. Ihave lots of toys and things to chew on. I even got 2 hay bails from my mom and dad and they are loads and loads of fun. I can even make a comfy bed from all the leftover straw. It is great. My little sister Abbie even likes it. WE play for hours then nap then play again and mommy sometimes pokers her head out the window to check on us. She doesn't need to though we are always doing fine.
So as you can see things are good here. I even had a birthday party last month. Mom said something about how she should have written about it but was too busy. I have noticed a lot more outside time lately and she has been sitting in that funny screen making a lot of clicking noises. Hmmm....maybe she is doing that thing called homework. She shouldn't worry though she is the smartest person I know . I just hope she will be done with all that stuff soon she doesn't play as much any more. But it is getting warmer and we have been to the doggie park more so i will keep my paws crossed. Well I have to run and chase my sister. I think she has my duck.
