I am the puppy

I am the puppy!!! Yes, I am almost 2 years old, but I am still very much a puppy. Mommy and daddy love me very much! They want a child but I am their baby!! mommy and daddy love me and my brother and sister very much, as though we were their very own. All three of us are very loved!!! We are the best huskies ever!!!!

I am Super Logan

I just saw the movie 'Underdog". I am super Logan, hear me bark! I loved the movie about a super beagle. I am a Super Husky!!!!!. I am SUPER LOGAN!!! Defender of justice, truth and the Husky Way!!!!!!

I'm a Traveling Dog....

I'm a traveling dog, made a lot of friends all over the state.... Boy, oh boy, the last couple of months have been really exciting for me. I have been traveling with my mommy for her job. Back in March we traveled to West Lafayette, Indiana for the Indiana Squadron Convention of the Navy Club USA. Mom is senior vice for her ship, ship 35 USS Indianapolis and was Squadron Master At Arms (MAA). This was my first over night trip. We stayed in a Best Western Hotel. Because I am a working boy I was able to go with mommy everywhere, even a restraunt. The place we ate at was not very nice to us, they put us up on the second floor of teh restraunt way in the back. No one knew we were sitting there until a waiotress by chance happened to walk by. This happened a couple of times at the restraunt. Mommy complained to the manager, they apologized and so the next time sat us on the first floor but back in the corner. I dont think we will be eating at that place again.

Mommy took me shopping at the nearby mall, where to my surprise was this huge stuffed easter bunny. It was bigger than mom, it was sitting in the middle of the mall, and all of these kids were waiting in line to take their picture with this stuffed toy. When there was no one in line, mom took me up and asked if I could have my picture taken with the toy. I wanted to paly with the toy, I love stuffed animals. Mom took me over to where the toy was sitting, when all of a sudden it started moving. It was alive, wonder if I could catch that bunny? My sister Arial would have been going crazy, she loves to hunt rabbits and one time actually caught a rabbit when she and mommy were at a convention in Illinois, everyone dubbed her 'Wabbit Killer'.

All of April and part of May mom had to travel again for her job, to work at the Hoosier Seamless Transitions, a program for recently returned Indiana National Guard members who just returned from Iraq. The soldiers loved me, mommy said I was a calming influence on some of them. THere were a couple of soldiers that seemed really sad, I tried to cheer them up. One soldier asked mom if one of his soldiers could take me for a walk. Later the officer thanked me for allowing the soldier to walk me, the soldier was having trouble dealing with what he experienced in Iraq. I felt really good to be able to help the soldiers especially after everything they have been through. Mommy was very proud of me and took me to White Castle for a special treat. On one trip we had to go to Evansville, Indiana which is way down south, that was a long trip in the car, about 3 hours. It was my first long car ride, my tummy got a little upset along the way. THat evening after we arrived, mommy, me and some friends who were also in town for the transition program went over to the casino. I had never been to a casino before. It was loud, and very smoky but I was fine. It didnt bother me at all, not even all of those bells and whistles.

Last weekend Mommy and Me went to Wisconsin for work and a friends wedding. Mommy and me visited the Wisconsin Maritime Museum and even got to take a tour of an actual submarine. BOy that submarine was cramped, perfect for me but not so good if you are really tall. While there i got to see this really strange loud bird. Mommy said it was a sea gull. If it was a bird why did it swim? I thought only ducks could swim? The sea gulls were really loud.

That night we went to a banquet, where the guest speaker was a real life US NAvy Admiral. The next day on the way home, mommy decided we should go on an adventure while traveling home. So instead of taking the same route home we took a car ferry the SS Badger, across Lake Michigan to Ludington Michigan and then drive down the coast of the lake to Indiana to go home. It was a lot of fun. I saw so many sea gulls, and alot of cars and even a bomb sniffing dog. We watched them load the cars on to the ferry and even a couple of big semi trucks. It turns out this ship used to ferry big diesel trains across the lake a long time ago. The trip took 4 hours, we played bingo on the ship, walked around the top side and shopped in the little store there. The ship also had an arcade and tv sets and a movie theater. Mom took alot of pictures of me while on the trip. I had a lot of fun.

We finally got home really late at night, I was so tired, even though I slept all the way. My brother and sister were happy to see me, when I walked in the door. But I was so tired that all I wanted to do was go outside to potty then go to my bed.

SO that is just a bit of my adventures for the last couple of months. Mommy says I am an old pro now. I wonder where we will go next. Wherever we go I know mommy will be taking alot of pictures of me to post here.
