Well, I did it again. Surprised both mom and dad today. What do you expect? I have been with them for a whole year now. Just celebrated my 1 year anniversary of my adoption and my 3d birthday. I gotta keep life interesting.
Mom and dad were sitting in the living room eating lunch and talking. Us three girls were just hanging out waiting for handouts. I decided that I would surprise them all. I went up to the side of moms recliner and started scratching it, dancing and "talking" to her to let her know that I wanted up in the chair with her. I have never done this before. Dad asked if I wanted help and I turned and looked at him and continued to dance and "talk". He came over, picked me up and put me on moms lap. I proceeded to go over to the side on her leg, where Joi usually lays and layed down. Dads mouth dropped to the floor and mom was speechless. Finally, dad said" has she ever done that before" meaning layed down in the chair with mom, and mom replied " no never". I just smiled and continued to look like the Diva that I am and pretended I didn't hear a thing. I actually stayed there with mom for about fifteen minutes and it felt good. I never knew what I had been missing. I just might have to do that again. What fun!

One of our best pals on Dogster, six months old Casper the friendly Pom, has a severe heart condition and needs $2,800 for his heart surgery or he will live another 6 months at the most. His heart is not pumping blood properly and the doctor wants to do the surgery the second week of September. You can read more about Casper in his diary at:
