Nikke really likes to play ball. He also snuggles with his little hedgehog.

Favorite Food:
Anything he can get but he loves Nature's Variety, Instinct Chicken and Merrick's Wingalings. Nikke also loves vegetables.

Favorite Walk:
All around the acre but Nikke also loves to go out socially too.

Best Tricks:
Nick is not a breed that really likes to do tricks. Also, being a senior he likes to be a little more dignified. Roll over to get a belly rub and play patty cake are his accomplishments to date.

Arrival Story:
I saw Nikke at the local shelter. He was very sick with kennel cough, had corneal ulcers and had huge bald spots due to flea dermititis. I volunteered to foster him until he was well and said I would have him posted with a Japanese Chin rescue. My husband and I fell in love with Nikke and decided he should stay with us. We adopted him officially on 01/21/08. He has been a joy and we never stop smiling with Nikke.

Bio:
At this time, due to good vet care and good groceries, Nikke is thriving. He is getting his lovely lush coat back, his eyes have healed and he's becoming more and more active and playful. He has turned into a Daddy's boy.

Nikke loves to play ball and now that he has one just his size, there's no stopping him. However, being a lap dog, which is what he was bred for, suits Nikke just fine.
