Her new favorite food is garlic pasta! She also likes stir fried veggies with brown rice and Life's Abundance dog food. When's she's good (which is ALWAYS) she gets chicken and fig newtons!

Favorite Walk:
It used to be Red Bud Isle Dog Park. Now we help her as she stumbles around the block in the neighborhood. Everyday people come out of their houses to see her as she walks by. It's the slowest walk you've every seen. Everyone loves her!

Best Tricks:

Arrival Story:
There was an ad in the paper for labs for $50 bucks. She was the timid one, the runt of the litter. It was the best $50 bucks we ever spent. We weren't looking for a purebred, she just happen to be one. She came with a family tree, her grandmother's name was Tessacantina de Pedernales.

Bio:
(Wenge left us today, 11-28-05. She almost made it to 15 years old. We will miss her always.)Wenge is an old lady now and needs help getting up and getting down many, many times a day. She needs 24 hour care and luckily we both work at home and can be with her day and night. She is totally deaf and she has arthritis, but she still wags her tail and looks happy to be alive every morning. She has a healthy appetite, her coat is still gorgeous and her eyes are still sweet. She's has her own heating pad that she sleeps on to help her stiff joints. Wenge was named after a black wood that comes from Africa. It's pronounced Weng- gay. She's never done one bad thing in her WHOLE life! She's the best, sweetest, gentlest dog ever! We are so lucky to have her!
