A quiet evening on the sofa, preferably with something four-legged to watch on the television. Oscar likes to be friends - even with the neighbour's cat, which believe it or not is friendly too.
Pet-Peeves:
None really, though worries a little when people sneeze! Probably relates to his life before adoption when a child of his previous family developed an allergy to dogs.
Favorite Toy:
A red 'Kong'.
Favorite Food:
You name it. Partial to ciabatta dipped in olive oil with balsamic vinegar, also (stuffed) olives, raw carrots....
Favorite Walk:
Norton Priory locally and the beach at Talacre/Point of Ayr in North Wales. Plenty of fields locally for cross country exercise too.
Best Tricks:
No tricks as such - likes swimming, water generally and, erm, retrieving things.
Arrival Story:
Adopted Oscar from the marvellous North West Golden Retriever Rescue (http://www.retrieverrescue.net/) on Good Friday 2006.

Sad for the humans with whom I live, but in less than three hours I've made more new friends than they have altogether!

I've been living in the countryside, south of Warrington, since Good Friday 2006 when I was claimed from the North West Golden Retriever Rescue (http://www.retrieverrescue.net/ **). I was renamed 'Oscar' that day and haven't looked back since - little did my 'owners' (who owns whom? - you might well ask) know that, unlike their previous Retriever encounters, I am frighteningly intelligent as well as loving, outgoing etc etc.
