My Human is Sad

My Human has been crying alot lately. We have been spending a lot of time at our other place. I miss sleeping on the big warm bed. Things are different. My buddy, the one that usually sits on the front porch with me and gives me belly rubs with his stick hasn't been around. My human hugs me alot but she cries a lot too. We went to a new place earlier this week and this really nice human carried me around in his lap for a long while. I saw lots of new friends that I had never met before. I got lots of ear rubs and belly rubs. But I was still glad when my human came and got me and we went home. That was lots of fun visiting these other humans. When we got home, my buddy was still not around. I'm not sure, but I think my buddy is gone away. He doesn't sit in his chair anymore. His flag is still flying on the porch. His plants haven't been watered for a while. I miss my buddy. I think my human misses him too. I try to tell her things will be OK. I wish she would not cry.

Rain, Rain Go Away

I don't like the rain. My human knows that I don't like the rain. She has a new box for me to ride in and it's big. I can find lots of places to hide in this big box. I like going with my human every day. We go to places where they give us good things to eat. We go visiting where the humans always give good belly rubs. There is something new in their yard though. My human called them rabbits. I found that I can even say rabbit. One is brown and one is brown and white and they are huge. They won't come very close but I know they are friendly. I had never seen huge rabbits like these. I have learned so many new things lately. My human let me sleep in her bed recently and I discovered how comfortable the bed is. I keep my eye on my human at night so that when she goes to bed, I make certain I get to go with her. Her bed is so tall, I have to ask for help to get there, and I stay as long as I can cause it feels so good! Isn't life grand!

Visiting Dr. Dan

Wow. My human took me on a surprise visit to see Dr. Dan today. There were some potential new friends there but no one paid any attention to me. I spoke to them but they just ignored me. And then, this sweet little girl came in the door. She walked right up and started loving me, rubbing that spot on my head. Wow, I was smitten immediately. The little girl then asked if she could hold me and I immediately started kissing her on the ears. She giggled (which is the expected response) and proceeded to give me a good rubdown. She was lots of fun. Then I went in to see Dr Dan and his friend. Dr Dan gave me a good belly rub. I was having a good time until he started putting this stuff in my nose. I did not like that at all and I tried to tell Dr Dan. Dr Dan just kept on putting these drops in my nose. When he stopped I looked around at my human to see if she noticed what they had just done. I reckon she did. I don't think I want to go back anytime soon, although I did like those belly rubs.
