Pet-Peeves: Riding in the car or the Motorhome which are not his favorite things to do!
Favorite Toy: He loves anything with stuffing so he can tear it up and eat it!
Favorite Food: Chomping his cookies!
Best Tricks: Walking on the backs of my flip flops.
Arrival Story: On Wednesday, January 23, 2008 Ace came to live with us, after Kim Russel Walz finished his points to become a Champion in Ventura, CA! Ace is the son of our beloved Albert (but we call him Bert). Their breeder is Margaret Austin from Serekunda Poodles in England. Margaret and her husband Barry had came to see us earlier in January and had decided they would not be taking Ace back to England with them. We inquired if we could take Ace into our home with Bert and Fritz. They thought it would be lovely if we would give him a good home. We are thrilled as we felt that Bert needed a young play mate. Someone with some energy that would like to frolic and have fun. Well Bert has met his match as Ace loves to run and frolic in the back yard. They jump and play and Ace gives him a run for his money!
Bio: Ace is a little bigger than his Dad. We think he is going to be a blue like Bert. He has lots of energy and is a very loving and devoted boy.

I've Been On Dogster Since:
Just before the 4th of July my Mistress got a pretty new comforter for the bed, made in Portugal and called Matisse. It is embroidered and is comfy cotton so it is washable (good thing). Our Mistress was in bed the other night reading and Bert was laying next to the bed on the floor. We both know better than to get on the bed. We have our own beds and comfy places to lay. Anyway there is always a lot of fire crackers around here and people firing guns around the 4th of July. Well there was a loud shot and Bert jumped up on the bed next to the Mistess so fast-like the blink of an eye. He was scared and she let him lay there so she could comfort him and cuddle him, but little did she know that the shot scared the pee right out of Bert and the comforter got wet! Later that night she made Bert get off the bed so she and the Master could go to sleep. Low and behold there was a yellow stain on the brand new comforter! Well off came the comforter and into the wash it went, she said no time like the present to see how good it's washing capabilities were. She was so good to my Dad, comforting him when he was afraid and then never saying a word about the accident and calmly taking the quilt to the washing machine. By the way it did wash up very nicely and the yellow stain came right out!
Well I decided I wanted to see what that comforter felt like next to my skin so Friday I hopped up on the bed and laid down pretty as you please because Wednesday we had gotten groomed and yes siree I am pretty! I settled in for a long winters nap but the matching pillow to the new quilt caught my eye so I decided to play around with it before I went to sleep. I think I am still a pup and I like to "teeth" on things like soft pillows. So I teethed all around the edges of the pillow and got it all good and wet. Then I found the little cleaning tag and it was in the way, so I tore it off. Well I got rid of that offending tag that's for sure. Once I tore it off I heard my Master coming, so I batted the pillow onto the floor and got rid of the pillow fast. Then I just laid on the bed pretty as you please as if nothing was wrong.
The Master came into the bedroom because he had heard me rip the tag and found the pillow on the floor and he made me get off the bed. He said the Mistress would be mad at me if I tore up the new pillow! No she wouldn't she would still love me, after all I tore the carpet all up and she never got mad, she just installed new tile and bought me a high class condo that I go in when they leave the house-so there Master!
Well the mistress came home and she sprayed the nice pillow with an organic spray that I don't like to chew. Darn it all my fun has been spoiled. She laughed when the Master told her the story and then she gave me LOVE!
My mistress brought home a new toy last weekend and it is a tug jar. She put treats in it and they more you tug it the more the stopper does not allow the treats to come out. I am so smart though, the other end where you put the treats in screws on and it has little wholes in it that you can smell the treats through. Well, guess what, I figured out how to unscrew the end and all the treats fell right out without me having to do any work! I was so proud of myself! Since I did that the Master has been really screwing the end on hard, but I now have figured how to get the treats out the correct end!
Our local poodle rescue group sponsored a Poodle Romp today and Bert and I went. Well I tell you we were the best dressed poodles of the whole group. Everyone said they loved the way we were groomed! My Mistress she said I was so good, I stuck right by her side in the shade. She is fussy about me and Bert not being to hot. She brought water and treats for us and we were good, we shared our treats with other dogs and we waited patiently for our turn to have a treat. I smelled a lot of poodle rear ends today and found some I liked and some I just looked at and thought who do you think you are, King/Queen Poodle or what? Some of those little dogs are so funny, they have to bark since they are so little so that they get my attention so I can look down my nose at them. Bert had fun, he went through the tunnel but I was a little shy of it. I sat back and watched which was just fine. After we came home I have been napping, boy was I tired with seeing so many dogs that looked like me!
