Arrival Story:
Betty was rescued from a puppy mill in Virginia in Nov 2007. She was taken to the Montgomery County Rescue shelter in MD with 24 others from the puppy mill. Hundreds of dogs were also rescued and went to other shelters on the east coast. She was the last one we looked and we knew right away! She had spent her whole life in a rabbit hutch and never even walked on grass. She has come such a long way!
