She cost me a a ton, but she was well worth it! Bio: Zoe was born on Jan. 14, 2007 and I bought her home in March 2007 when she was 8 weeks old. Last night mom noticed my making a weird sound and yackin' noises. Gaggin' but nothing coming up. She thought I was choking so she checked my throat and saw nothing So we went back to sleep... Well at 2am I was doing it again, but worse! Mom had enough and she took me to da emergency room. Da vet checked me out and said I have a mild case of kennel cough!!! WHAT?!!??! I told dat lady, "hey lady! I get my bordetella vaccine every six months!" she then said that it's not a 100% effective. Pppffttt!!! Well that sucks?! This is all news to my ears... I must have caught it from some other dog while at doggy day care. Hmm...
Soooo she perscribed some Clavamox antibiotics and I must take it for a week! I also got some pink liquid stuff to help soothe my throat. (forget the name, sorry) but it smells like bubble gum, yum!
So please, please friends.. if you notice you have a yackin hackin wheezin sound, make sure your pawrent take you in asap! It's not fun having kennel cough. I'm sure i'll be ok... i'm still hyper as usual and eating and drinking ok...
