Arrival Story:
Trixie was a foster dog from the humane society. Her previous owners said lots of bad things about her, and the humane society wasn't sure they could adopt her out because of this. She had some fear issues and was in poor physical health. She was missing her whole outercoat of fur, and we would guess what color dog she would be when her fur grew back. She would snap the air or growl when people got too close to her. We socialized and trained her for several months before deciding to adopt her. She has since changed her mind about people and is actually quite friendly now, although young children make her nervous.
