Arrival Story:
He is our newest little male. he is going to be Keya husband won't they make the cutest babies! Boy Prancer had a rough time the first week with me. I was rubbing him and he hollered like i hurt him so monday i took him to the vet and he said he probably needed his teeth cleaned. Well I got a phone call the day he was in surgery and the vet said he had a deteriorated jawbone and jaw bone fracture from an old infection that was never treated. So we are working on getting the little guy healed. He has a wire in his jawbone trying to get it back together. He has to eat grull which i am sure he is glad to have something but would much rather have yummy treats or regular dog food. He isn't suppose to chew on anything. I think he was kenneled because when its feeding time he runs around in circles and will only eat off the floor. I put his food in a nice plate and he won't eat it unless i put it in the floor or hand feed him which i do alot to just to make sure he is gaining his weight because he was malnurished when i got him. It took him a few days to warm up to us he was extremely skiddish and shy. i don't think he had much attention at all. Well let me tell you he comes running to me when he hears me giving sweet talk to other dogs and he has to have his and will jump up on my leg. I try and keep a camera around at all times to get pics. I posted a c ute one of him jumping up on my leg to get some love. It is amazing how loving the little man is after all hes been thru in his year of life. What a doll baby and he has a special spoiled home here with us now.
