I'm going to be a Service Dog. Right now I pull Mommy's wheelchair and in time, I will be learning to do many things.
Arrival Story:
My mommy was in a horrible fire and is an above the knee amputee, permanently confined to a wheelchair. She needed a dog to love and help her. I was "free" and am now in training to be her service dog. Hey, bulldogs are a working breed and need a job and this is not a bad job.

My doggie mommy is an American Bulldog and my doggie daddy is an English Bulldog.

This has got to be some sort of record. Mommy and I have packed up and moved 3 times in the past 2 weeks. And to add insult to injury Mommy has been without internet service AND cable TV for 2 weeks (no NASCAR races, dios mio). Talk about serious withdrawl symptoms (she has been unbearable to live with). Anyway, I think we have finally found a good home --- great people, good food, a clean bed and lots of people to give me lots of love and attention. Mommy has her highspeed internet and cable TV and all is right with the world.

Mommy got a new bed yesterday. In order to get into it, I have to climb up two steps. I had never seen steps or stairs before yesterday. But, I'm so smart I figured out how to do it in no time. Now I have claimed the bed as my own. It's perfect for me, the original couch potato. I like it so much I may forgive Mommy for making me wear this evil Halti. I guess it's not going to go away no matter how much I fight. I may have to give in (what, a bulldog surrender to training, never!!!)

Oh joy, I got all sorts of presents today. Some are better than others. I got a huge chew bone which I promptly destroyed in 15 minutes. I got a toy tire on a rope (took me 5 minutes to wreck that one). Three stuffed pigs (polished them off in 20 minutes). This was a good day. Oh yes, my new harness. I really like this one. It's so comfortable and really helps me do my job.
Now, the not so good presents. I got a Halti. YUCK!!!! There is NO way I'm going to wear this thing. However, if Mommy continues to bribe me with Frosty Paws ... I might think about it.
I think I hear the dinner bell, gotta go EAT!!!
