Likes:
Destroying my "stuffies", EATING!!!!! Being the center of attention and wiggling her little 1 1/2 inch stub of a tail. Eating BACON and Milk Bone dog biscuits. If it's the generic brand, FORGET IT, I won't eat them.

Pet-Peeves:
Dogs barking at her and ANYBODY who looks like they might hurt her Mommy.

Favorite Toy:
Stuffies that I can destroy.

Favorite Food:
Pizza!!!!!! and anything that Mommy is eating.

Favorite Walk:
Around the new neighborhood. We are still looking for the "Dog Park" so I can run and play. Rumor has it that there is one about 10 miles away but, we have to take the bus to get there.

Best Tricks:
I don't do tricks, I'm a bulldog and too dignified for tricks.

Arrival Story:
My mommy was in a horrible fire and her right leg was amputated above the knee because the fire burned her leg through the bone and it could not be saved despite the head of Loyola University (Chicago)'s Burn Unit doctor's best efforts. Because her left leg was also damaged in the fire, she is permanently confined to a wheelchair until they can figure out a way for her to grow a new leg. She needed a dog to love, protect and help her. I was "free" and trained to be a Service Dog. Hey, bulldogs are a working breed and need a job to make them happy and this is the best job in the world!!!! Also, Mommy graduated from Vassar College and Yale University is her brother school. Their mascot is the bulldog. Go Yale!!!!!!!

Bio:
My doggie mommy is an American Bulldog and my doggie daddy is an English Bulldog so I am properly classified as a EngAm Bulldog.

Introducing My New Brother - Peyton

In February 2012, my Mommy had to move into a very evil Assisted Living Facility. The despicable, duplicitous and cruel woman who owned the place would not let Mommy keep me even though I was a service dog. Mommy had nowhere else to go, thus, I was put up for adoption and Mommy never saw me again. In July of this year, she moved to a much better facility and was allowed to have a dog. Sadly, there was no chance of ever getting me back. But, the fiancée of the Administrator of the new place had a Boxer. His Boxer had puppies and my new brother Peyton was born on November 3, 2014. Florida law won't let him come home until he is 8 weeks old - which is December 29, 2014. I will miss all of my friends but, Mommy is still the same and I am sure you will all welcome him as you welcomed me. I miss and love you all. Jessie

Moving Day

Well, time to pack up and move again. Mommy and I have been together for 3 years and this is now my 4th home. Nobody said life would be dull.

Our new home is in a 100 unit senior citizen apartment complex called Marina Del Rey in Beverly Hills, Florida. I think Mommy's got California on the brain. Anyway, it's a second floor unit in a 2 story building so I have to learn how to ride in an elevator. Mommy says it's nothing to be afraid of but.... I don't know. I'm also going to have a balcony so I can survey my "Queendom". It's not the same as having a yard to run around in but at least I'm with Mommy and we can have long walks together.

My days of leisure are over. I am now officially back to work. I have to wear my service dog uniform and perform my duties of pulling Mommy's wheelchair, helping her carry things and in general helping Mommy whenever she needs it.

Oh yes, Mommy is going to be teaching computer classes to the other residents. Maybe I can get in a few pets and goodies while she's teaching. This diet dog food is killing me. Bacon, bacon, I need more bacon!!!!!!!
