Playing Chutes and Ladders

So, this morning after a very long and engaging walk with my human sister, I took a very long nap. After that, my brother and sister went into the bedroom to play Chutes and Ladders. Naturally, I was interested in what the game was. So, when I trottsied into the room, brother and sister let me choose my own little character and taught me to spin the spinner.

When we started playing the game, I spun the spinner and my sister moved my piece for me (darn those humans and their opposable thumbs). After five turns though, I began to get bored and trottsied back out of the room to Abbey.

So my first experience playing Chutes and Ladders...um...it's okay, I don't know how the peoples stay entertained doing that though.

Puppy Class

I was awesome at puppy class yesterday. Aside from the occasional snap at the other puppies (whoops, sorry mom) I payed really close attention and I got hang out and play afterward. Yippee! Oh, my sister was smart enough to pack a ton of different treats this time =D.

First Day of Puppy Class

OKay, so I went to puppy class today and at first I was really scared! It was a new place, it was scary, with a whole bunch of little smells and BIG DOGS! But after a while I calmed down, said "Hi" to everyone.

I was doing really well in the beginning and payed close attention to my sister, really well, but then I got tired of the HOT DOGS...OVER AND OVER she kept sticking 'em in my face! She says I'm such a "pip", but I need more variety in my cookies!

Overall, my sister said that I didn't do too bad, but I definitely need to learn to pay attention more. I did socialize with people though, and she thought that was a BIG step!

My First RAW Meal

Mmmm, I had raw pork tonight with lightly steamed vegetables. My sister went and picked up some pork from the grocery cut it up and boiled it so as to eliminate any of the harmful bacteria (just like the vet said). OH and I liked it. It was Super! I've had a raw dog food diet before, but it was all mushy and stuff. This was nice chunks of meat that I got to chew on! I thought it was delicious. The veggies were good too. Aaaand it's high in protein. I hope there's more of this. Blue BUffalo is great, but we're trying to find the best diet for me and Abbey so since we both have strong stomachs mommy finds everything. And Each food is better than the one before.

Life is Grrrreat!

I am doing grrreat at my new home! Potty training is going well. I still have some accidents, but that's caused by my just recent upset tummy. It was due to some really awful Wellness cookies. I had some really bad poop accidents, but mommy and sister are being very, very patient. My sister has taught me not to pull on a leash and I did really good today.

I did have a small period this week where I displayed some agression, GRRR I'm the one in charge, GULP nevermind, the peoples are the ones in charge. My sister really made me kick that habit, she nipped it in the bud. But sister is a good person, if she's in charge, it's completely okie dokie with me.

I'm being a really good girl and I start puppy classes in April...I think. I'm learning different types of socialization and stuff there and how to be a really social dog.

On being crate trained

Potty training was not going as planned and Mommy and Sister were getting really worried. They didn't want to give me away because they were so happy, but they also didn't want the house smelling like "doggy remnants."

So, today when I went to Abbey's trial, We talked to some lady named Syndney and she said "CRATE TRAINING" So far it isn't so bad, but it has become my house. UGH. She is also going to help with my behaviour, because she is really good and positive. So on with the crate training, and other training too.

I'm going to do THERAPY

Since I've got such a wonderfully sweet nature, and I like people, mommy decided that I should become a therapy dog. She thiks that I will be super good at it because I listen really well and I don't mind having people touch me or hold me. I like people a lot. The only thing I've got to work on is my barking habit. So, mommy is going to start taking me to obedience drill classes, the same kind that Abby went to, because she thinks its time. My BIG sister has already done a lot of work with me and mom says its time to go to the professionals and start practising in an area where there are more distractions. So on wednesdays I get to tell you all about my little obedience adventures. I'm going to be a good doggie, well, I am a good doggie, I'm just going to be even better.

I have a brand new home

I have got this pawesome sister that I get to play with who shares her toys and takes walks with me and puts up with my day to day nonsense. The kitty isn't quite fond of me yet, but I think he will warm up once he gets to know me. My mommy and sister are very sweet and my daddy and brother are nice too! I like to mess with my daddy and bark at him because I think it's funny. I absolutely loove my new home!
