Arrival Story:
We got Tandy when a friend of my sister's decided she couldn't keep her anymore. We had a cairn terrier, Toto, that had passed away a year before from cancer and we were devastated and had thought we never wanted another dog, but after a year had passed we missed having a sweet doggy face to greet us at the door. We saw Tandy and immediately fell in love with her.
Bio:
Tandy was a very beautiful, sweet dog and is missed very much. She passed away in 1998. She slipped out the door two days before Christmas and got hit by a car. She wasn't allowed to ever go out unless she was in the backyard, but she slipped out without us knowing and then it was too late. I thought I was going to die. I loved her sooo much and knew the only thing that would help me from my depression would be to rescue another dog. Four days after Christmas we went to the animal shelter and got our sweet Maggie.
