Arrival Story:
Coty was adopted from Brooke County Animal Shelter, WV. in April '95. He was 10 weeks old. He looked like a small, fuzzy black bear cub. He was the runt of the litter and didn't have blue eyes so he was the last to be picked. My husband and I didn't see the other fur-babies, they were already adopted, but God blessed us with the greatest gift that day.
Coty was the best dog, my best friend. He went everywhere with me, he loved to go in the car. Anywhere! We would fill the gas tank and water jugs up on Sundays and take off for hours at a time. We always stopped somewhere for his french fries and on the way home we always stopped at Dairi Queen for his puppy cup of ice cream.
Bio:
We lost Coty at 12 years old on December 27th, 2007. He is so greatly missed and will remain in my heart till my last breath is spent.
My husband & I have no children, to us his passing was that of a loss of a child.
