Life with Lex

Its My BIRTHDAY!!

Well today is the day I am 3 yrs old. It is raining and cold outside and i am so mad because my mom had a big play day scheduled for me, and now i am stuck inside on my birthday Oh well i know she will come through with something exciting for me to do.

Worried

Well We went to the vet yesterday, Lex has been acting like his leg is hurting him and they did x-rays and they saw something on his right hip x-ray that they didnt like so they are sending his x-rays to an orthopedic surgeon in florida to see what to do about it. I have been so worried about my big man and i am praying he is going to be ok and we dont have to do surgery. I do not know alot about hip displasia so maybe someone will read this that has been through it before and give me some advice. Thanks!

Life with lex

What can I say Life With Lex has been fun and intresting. If you would have told me 3 years ago that I would have a dog and it would live in my house and sleep in my bed I would have told you that you were crazy. Boy did things change I got Lex and my life has not been the same since. He is just like having a child so when my friends say just wait till you have a kid I in turn say well i already do. My whole lifestyle has changed in a really good way. To come home and have him meet me at the door and all i can hear is his tail beating the side of the washing machine and it sounds like a someone is beating a drum makes me smile matter what kind of day I have had. we have had some not so good times. Lex is very protective of me since it has always been the two of us and I really have to be extra careful when we are out places so any advice on this matter i would greatly accept. Cant wait to hear from others and I am very excited to see all of your German Shepherds and hear your life stories.
