Her big brother, Sammy and her dad and mom
Not being able to sleep right by our heads in our bed at night! (although most of the time she gets her way on that, too!)
She loooooves her Nylabones!
Food?!? Did someone say food?!? She's there!! Anything and everything (made for dogs, of course!)
Around the lake at our cottage. Lots of fun smells!!
She's not much of a trickster, but she knows how to do puppy push-ups, so that's cute :)
I work at a Veterinary Hospital near our house and a client was gracious enough to bring in a stray she found running down the street near her place. We don't do doggie adoptions at our office, but our client was planning to board her long enough to have her checked out and vaccinated, etc, and then take her to a local shelter to be put up for adoption. After taking one look at her sweet self, I went home and talked with my husband about doing a trial at our place with Sam (her big brother). Our dog, Otis, passed away last spring and we had been talking about adopting another sibling for Sam. It just seemed like a sign at that time that she was the one. We brought her home and the two clicked pretty much right away! Very exciting to have her with us!!
We're not sure of her background, but the consensus at the vet's office is that she was about 3-1/2 months old when she came to us and is a Boxer mix, with a lot of other breeds thrown in for good measure :) Our best guess is that she'll be around 50-60 pounds based on what she's weighing today.
Could I be any sweeter?!? :)
