Arrival Story:
My husband and I decided that we needed the sound of four furry feet in our apartment. I wanted a doxie but my husband wanted a lab or golden. I prevailed (hours of saying "dachshund" in his sleep really paid off)...and the search for a doxie began. We worked with rescue groups and visited shelters for weeks. One day I decided to look on craigslist.org to see if anyone had doxies up for adoption...and lo and behold...someone had posted an ad for our precious Dylan. We really wanted a pie...so it was fate that he was a red pie and ridiculously adorable. We went out the next day to see him and took him home with us!
