Arrival Story:
Mommy and Daddy had talked about getting a dog for almost 2 years but didn't live in a place that allowed dogs. They were then transfered to San Francisco and found a building that took dogs. Within 1 month of getting here they had decided on a breed and Grandma (Mommy's Mom) found us a Pug with an "accidental" breeder. Grandma brought her home and waited for Mommy and Daddy to come home for X-Mas. The first time Mommy saw me I was only 7 weeks old and 3.5 pounds and she immediately started crying she was so happy to see me. We all went home together to San Francisco on Christmas day and Mommy and Daddy love me so much and are so happy to have me as part of their family after waiting so long. In Jan 2005 we moved to San Mateo CA and now we have a backyard that is all for me. I also met Vicki, my dog walker and we go on adventures together. Vicki also introduced me to Henry her Golden and now we are an "item". In August 2005 my human Mommy and Daddy brought home a human little sister for me. I didn't like her at first but now I just want to lick her face all the time and hang out with her while she plays on the floor. I let her pull on my ears and pet me all she wants and get a lick or two in when Mom and Dad aren't looking.

Pedra had a troubled first couple of months, she was treated for stomach ailments, sensitive stomach, coccidia (stomach parasite) cut on her foort from glass, and a dog bite. If this were a human child they would have had Department of Children Services out because it sounds like we have abused our "child". Pedra is happy and healthy and active as of the last update March 13, 2006.

We MOVED again!

So we moved again and this time I think I am going to have to put my paw down. We seem to move almost every year but my mom says this should be it for a couple of years. Dad gets transfered and we have to move.

Man is it cold here and I don't have a dog walker anymore because Mom is home everyday, now there is also double the stairs, so I am working off some extra pounds right now.

Speaking of which the vet said I am about 4 pounds overweight, so I will work on that.

This weekend was crazy!

So this weekend had me all in a tizzy! There was so much going on, my Mom's brother was visiting and they were working on the house all weekend and I got in trouble for being in the way all the time.

These people never seem to sit down and nap. How these humans can go all day long without a nap I don't know.

Thankfully I had a break on Friday day and got to hike in Arguello hills and hang out with my boyfriend Henry (golden retriever).

We moved a few weeks ago and I have been very bothered by our new place.
Don't get me wrong, it is a huge new place and lots of space for me to run around and play but there are these really high ceilings and lots of windows and doors and glass everywhere and boy does this all have my collar in a bunch! I see every bird that flies by and have to bark, I hear my own barking and the echo and have to bark some more, I am confused as to where my treats are and my food is now in a cabinet that I can almost open myself.....

I have so much more work to do now that we are in this new place and a big staircase to run up and down everytime something happens.

BUT, now I have a big room where they put my human little sister on the floor to play which gives me easy access for licking,hehehehehehe....
