Vacation Day #2

BAD MOM!

no walk today....but we did BBQ and we did sleep in...which I guess 2 out 3 isnt too bad....

Hoping we go out for a walk tomorrow cause Thursday is suppose to be about 40C again too HOT to go out for us old men.....

1st day of vacation....

and mom gets woken up with a call from work just after 7am :( and she ends up to be on the phone & puter till about 10am! Not fair! Hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Vacation time....not work time.

Anyway mom ends up going out for a bit but she does come back home and tells us to get ready!! and then we saw da stroller!! YIPEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

So we got put in the stroller till we got to the park and I think we peed and pooed everywhere we could it was GREAT~~~

After that mom put us back in da stroller, and we came back home and a big drink and a cookie and we are now chilling from da walk until dinner tonight

So day 1 is pretty good just as long as mom remembers it is all about US~

Yearly Checkup.........

So mom started her vacation as of 4pm Friday!! We get mom till Sept 7 and she goes back to work on the 8th!! Hmmm wonder what we can get mom to do....maybe stroller rides? more drive thru timbits.....more mcdonalds french fries and plain burgers!!!

So far it started off pretty good we finally went for a walk last night...it is the first break of hot weather and it felt GREAT to get out, once we got back home at dinner and we crashed! mom said we were both snoring and barking in our sleep:)

And this morning we thought sleep in ...chill.....have breakfast....but NO! Mom got up at 7am had a shower and cleaned our faces, fixed the ponies , put Lenny's meds in...and grabbed our leashes....Lenny started howling he got so cited that we were going back out.....

Mom opened the door it was wet & foggy out! YUCK! We wanted to go back to bed...but nope...mom unlocked the car and said lets go.....so we thought Tim Hortons....timbits...the girls love it when we drive thru and get our timbit order!! BOL! Nope drove right past......and then we smelled something familar......something very good.....but we were unsure.....

mom parked the car and it was the best grass EVER it had so many smells , so many stories to tell!! Then we walked up a few stairs and she opened another door.....Lenny stuck his head in, stopped, smelled and he started to do the moon walk backwards out !! It was the DOGTORRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!! MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We cant believe she did this to us!

We get stopped as soon as we walked in....scale boys......great......maybe this means no more timbits......

Harrison first.....I am proud to say I weigh 22.2 pounds!!
Lenny second....I am 16.4 pounds!!

No wonder mom has back problems!! BOL!

So after that we both got head rubs from a nice man in the waiting room, and we talked to 2 little girls that just got a new pup but the pup was sick.....and then we met a big huge dog....he looked mean , but he was so nice to us...he had to stay as his owner was going away over night...but the doggy said he liked it, it was a mini vacation for him :)

So it was out turn.....we get called in...thank dog Lenny was first.....

So mom told him that Lenny was getting that funky smell back again..when his scabs first started....and then she had to talk about his bum......plus he got his nails cut...ohhh and he cried when he got his first needle!!He was soo mad at mom!! Good news is that the dogtor said his hair and skin look great compared to what they looked like before.....and that mom should maybe start doing the once a week bath if the smell comes back...we both get a bath every 2 weeks now.

It was now my turn......the dogtor gave me a big hug & kiss and said that I looked good...he checked out a few little lumps...said that they were nothing for mom to worry about, checked my teeth....a little tarter but nothing to worry about....gave me my needles no problem, but lets just say once mom put me down I started to breath again!! I was holding my breath the whole time!! Ohh and I forgot!! I had to give blood...mom wanted my blood tested again to see how my liver was doing and other things....

Overall dogtor said that we look great for both being 11years 2 months old!! We think Dr Grieve is our dogtor angel looking out for us! He was our main vet before he passed away from cancer and he knew Norton!! He always told us stories about him when we went in...and always commented on how each of us was like him!! The dogtor we see now took over his practice but he knew Norton too! Even though we act like we dont like the dogtor we really do, he is our best friend that can always calm mom down when needed.

Anyway....we are tuckered out from today and we just had a BBQ..and we were in the hammock swinging in the backyard!!

It has been a fun filled day!! Cant wait for the other days to come!

So where has the time GONE! It is time for our yearly checkup!! It has been scheduled for Aug 29th 9AM! Geez....mom could have made it a little later in the day!

Wonder what dogtor is going to say? Hmmm....wonder if he thinks we are eatin too many donuts on da weekend? wonder if he thinks we should be cutting back on da treats?

Nah....our dogtor loves us! He always tells mom we are PERFECT! Scary my dogtor has seen us our whole lives!! That is a long time....and mom knew him even longer , when Norton was here......actually mom said ever since she moved to Ontario...he is probably the longest person that she has known! Crazy!

Ohh and what about summer? Here in Ontario we know summer is almost over when you here about the Ex! and guess what the commericals just started and that means summer is coming to an end....and that means it is mom's VACATION!!! and her BIRTHDAY! BOL! mom is gettin old!! BOL

But honest we cant wait for what summer we did have to be over...it is either way too hot or thunder storms! Crazy weather...we just want the clean fall air to come and that means WALKS! stroller rides!! more BBQ's!! which means more fun for da canadian boys!

It is almost Enny's time to end as STAFU dog of the month....time has gone by so quickly this month....ohh and mom is planning her work Christmas party!!! OMD! Christmas!!

We think that is about it for now......? You know old age...you cant remember everything that needs to be said...thank dog we have a diary to write things down...so we can at least go back and reread!!

sUMMeR

So it is now August and summer has really not been the greatest......weather wise.....it has been so rainy , and then thunder, then extreme heat.....it just hasnt been fun and when mom brings us out back...we dont want to stay we will watch her bbq from inside :)

We are now on the countdown where mom will be on VACATION!!! starting Aug 31, it is only for a week, but we hope that the heat will be down and we will be back to walks & stroller rides again!!

Ohh I think we have our yearly checkup coming soon too!! I think we are getting the "old" man blood test again this year to check out all the things necessary when you get older....but we are still getting along great! mom on the other hand...we think she is getting slower BOL!

So nothing really has been happening...moms been working alot and trying to get on dogster, but not as often as she would like...but we try....the bird (princess) is still around chirping away wanting to play with us all the time....one day we promise you BIRD! BOL!

oH mY!!!!!!!

What mom did!!!!

Mom went out early Saturday to pick us up more dog food....and while she was there she saw something scurry really fast out of the corner of her eye she would have said it was Chelsea! But she went around the store and found what she saw! It was another tzu exact colouring of moi (harrison) but he was probably about 7 lbs compared to my perfect size of 20 lbs. He also had a beautful long coat and he was so happy to be out!!! Mom got kisses and a waggle.

The only thing that was different is that he did not have a top knot, the lady had it cut off as she said it was easier to maintain everything but the top knot always got in the way.

So mom had an idea!! No she doesnt have the guts to cut our top knots off....even though she debated it :-O but we did get our ears and beards trimmed it now looks like I dont drag a 10 pound beard around. I feel more free...and I think I look G O O D!

So I read mom's email and it said our cake is being delivered on Friday to her work...so I am thinking we might get to see it 2 days early? hmmm...gotta work on mom.....so then mom tells us WOOFSTOCK is back this year!

So we just got into mom's email and we found out she has just ordered our BIRTHDAY cake!!! We cant wait!

Group APPt!!!!!

So Friday night mom got home late....not happy tzu's let me tell you when she walked through the door!! It was suppose to be our Friday afterwork walk...NOPE didnt happen!

Mom got the cold shoulder for a while till the treats came out!

So mom was telling us that we were going to go in the car tomorrow! We were hoping that the stroller was in da back and we were ready to GO!

So morning comes....mom is dragging her butt to get out of bed...but we are ready! You see if you tell us something the night before we ALWAYS remember specially if it has to do with a car and going O U T!

So off we went in the car, it was 27C on Saturday!! It was like summer was already here...so mom put down the windows and moi being Harrison da supermodel , it was like a was in a photoshoot....tzu hair blowing in da wind it was great! Enny is too short to see out and he gets upset and trys to drive da car!

So we slow down and we smell something great......lots of wonderful smells for us..we are going crazy.....but then mom says ok boys lets go....so not thinking...we follow!

We go up stairs.....in a door....and mom puts us on a scale...OMD!!!!!!!

Enny is first he is now 16.8 pounds! it must be all the donuts he has been eating ! BOL

Geesh...now my turn...I look at mom, I try and tell her I am reatining water not today please.......but it is too late! all I hear is HARRISON! OMD! You are 22 POUNDS! It hasnt even been that long since I was at the dogtor...Oopsss....

So the dogtor calls us in...and Enny is first he is scared!! dogtor takes his arm, is he putting something around his arm, and playing with his hair...all I hear is mom, it is ok Enny...good boy...and he gets a big kiss from the dogtor! hmmm no crying....this should be easy for Big boy!

So my turn.....not sure what my brain was telling me but I started shaking in my paws!!! I didnt want to stay up there, I tried to climb on mom, nope she wasnt helping me...I saw a needle in the dogtors hand I swear it was as big Enny!!! OMD no mom please no!! I cried and mom said it was ok...HOW can this be ok? with someone sticking something in your arm? Dogtor said all he wanted was a little blood to test for the heartworm pill.....that was all....he said I was a good boy even though I moved...he knows I am usually the one supporting Enny, but I needed this test too.

So after that I was sweating, mom walked us out to the waiting room and there was 2 big boxes there for us....mom asked the girls if they could hold us...while she brought the boxes out to the car.....well...lets just say we BOTH thought mom was leaving US! Enny starting to howl....I started to panic...I tell you once we saw mom walk back in....we ran to mom , and we told her we really gotta leave this place.....and not come back.....mom was laughing at us...and said we were silly....cause mom said she would never leave us unless it was something necessary, and that she would be really upset and sad......so off we went.....not to get any donuts though...mom drove us straight home.....


After we got home we relaxed for a while and mom decided to bath us both! And instead of getting dried , we air dried in the backyard cause it was soo nice out...mom said it looked like we were 2 years old again the way we were playing and horsing around, the flowers and the lillac bushes!

Then it happend.......mom BBQ'd steak for dinner and not even 10 mins later the skies turned black!! It wasnt even 5pm yet......and the winds were so strong that we thought forsure Enny would blow away!

We ran inside and mom seen the look in my eyes.....OMD , it is going to THUNDER! no....please make it go away!! Mom took me and Enny upstairs and turned up the tv....it took me about an hr to calm down while Enny passed out from bath time & play time today.

Once everthing seemed quiet I finally feel asleep....snoring, barking, crying in my sleep.......dreaming of things that I love.

Oh My!!!!!!!

So today was a little crazy around da house.....mom went to work as normal BUT then it all started......

Mom's mom had a really bad asthma attack and had to be taken to the emerg, she is ok now but was hooked up to machines all day , getting medicine and blood taken every 2 hrs....she now has to rest for the next few days and then go and see her dogtor.

But mom's sister just quit her job and she starts a new one next week...so she has a fews days off so she spent the day with us!!

Now the adventure starts!!!!

Mom's sister is known to give us anything and everything doesnt matter what it is......so mom comes home and finds baby cookie crumbs in 3 different rooms.....and newspaper shredded all over the floor....ohh and we are suppose to be gated in the kitchen when anyone leaves (mom says for our saftey) but no one checked the other door in da kitchen....so I being Harrison ESCAPED and Enny followed, but we couldnt get back in to eat our dinner that mom's sister made!!!!!!!!

Mom saw the dinner on the floor and asked us if we were having company come over...it seems mom's sister made enough food for 3 dinners all in one! And we had rice added to our dinner!! I just looked at mom and told her we wanted a buffet dinner and we got it!

Then I got the look......this is what mom said "If you get sick it is your own fault" blah blah blah.....I am feeling great right now....

mom just rolled her eyes...Over all I think we had a G R E A T D A Y!!!

Family Day :-)

Well today in Ontario it was a holiday for mom....she said it is called "family day" so mom decided that we were going to Jack Darling park today!!!!

Today mom told us that we were going to meet Angel Gizmo's mom!!

Sadly we never met Gizmo but we were really happy to meet his mom. She met us at the park and she brought her mom & dad too!

We had arrived and mom brought out our stroller and we started walking around....it was busy at the park today...the doggie leash free area and over half the park was and is under construction and they only had 1 parking area open.....but it was cool, alot of pups with there owners walking around even though it was C O L D (actually it was 0c out).

Anyway we saw Angel Gizmo's mom and her parents and we started walking and Angel Gizmo's mom took the good brother (me Harrison) while mom took Enny and pushed the stroller. I got a really nice hugs from Gizmo's mom!! She gives good hugs and I love them. Lenny was too involved in what was around him and that he had to see everything.

Mom thought we had enough walking cause we started to slow down so she put us in the stroller and mom & Gizmo's mom & her parents started walking back to the cars....mom noticed that Lenny was shaking ...we didnt realize it was going to be that cold so mom had just put a tshirt on us! Geez mom WAKE UP! We could have worn our heavy winter coats plus boots!! Please remember that next time!

Anyway Angel Gizmo's mom took a few pictures and we got another hug . It was great meeting her and her parents. We hope that we can meet again, hopefully with warmer weather or make mom dress us properly :-)

So Angel Gizmo, we know that you were with us today on the walk, and we hope we made your mom feel a little better. just remember you will always be your mom's special Giz, and you will never be forgotten little man! Sending hugs & kisses up to you buddy:)

Birthday Update :P

Woo HOO!!!!!!!!!!!

As Harrison wrote in his diary yesterday mom thought that she wouldnt get our birthday cake on time.....well today she got it at work!!!!!!!!!!!!

She was soo happy! and surprised that the customs people didnt rip it open :-/ It was in 1 piece, and she said the cupcakes are soo pretty!

So mom gets her butt home and she wouldnt even show us! She put in right in the fridge but we did get a treat cause she got a few extra things and it was yummmyyy.

Mom will need to take some pictures tomorrow on the big 10!
