Running, chewing, food, belly rubs, investigating, training, chasing things, tall grass, squeaky toys, dragging herself along the floor, catching things with her paws, nibbling my hand, lying around with her favourite people
Strange people and dogs, the clicker, the vacuum, fireworks, horses
Anything that rolls, bounces, or squeaks.
Cross country and Cascade trails off-leash.
Sit, down, stay, wait, target, be cute
When we called the foster home asking about several other dogs to determine whether visiting would be worth the drive, we were informed that she was a 25 lb. (now 30 lb.) boxer mix (which met our apartment complex's size and breed requirements). When we met her, we knew from her sweet, curious, active, yet quiet personality that we were right for each other. After a few hours of driving on the way down to Blacksburg, she finally turned around and put her head on my lap.
Juno had parvovirus as a puppy and underwent several weeks of treatment. She made a full recovery with much credit to the loving care of her foster parents. You'd never know today how sick she was.
She now lives in a cozy apartment nestled between sprawling farmland and the beautiful VT campus. She trains in agility and loves toys, playing chase, and snuggling.
