It's All About Me !!!

Summer is FUN

I'm back !!!! Did you miss me?! We were on vacation a while ago. It was FUN!! We stayed at this house and if you walked down this big hill you could go to a lagoon and go swimming! I LOVE swimming!!! And we went hiking in all these different places and went to the beach and had lots of fun!! And then when we got back, my mom got her Dogster shirt in the mail and now people ask what her shirt is about and she tells them how I am a star and everything. Oh ya, and that my sister is on Dogster too. Summer has been fun so far, except when it gets really hot and we go for a walk, sometimes I just have to lie down on some shady grass on somebody's lawn. But my mom doesn't really mind, she lets me rest and she usually has water on the hot days. Hey, maybe we can go swimming again tomorrow....I gotta go ask my mom RIGHT NOW! BYE!!

What ?!?!?

Today my dad was cutting some tent caterpillar nests out of the tree in the backyard. Now, the last few days I have really acquired a taste for these tasty little critters. So, I thought he was getting them out of the tree especially for me. So when the tents (attached to the branches) started hitting the ground I started gathering them up. That's when my mom started screaming "NO!! Leave it !! EWWWW" So I started running around with them in my mouth and then she was saying "Gross!!" and laughing really hard. So I had about 4 branches in my mouth with big bunches of caterpillars on the ends and I was trying to decide where to lie down and start the feast. But then my dad had some treats and traded them for the caterpillars. I think maybe I should have kept the caterpillars because there were a lot more of them than there was treats.

Kong Day

Woo hoo!!! We all went to Beaver Lake today and you know what that means......I had my Kong!!! I love my Kong!!! For some reason I usually only have it at Beaver Lake. What happens is that we drive there and everyone gets out of the car and then I go to the back door of the car and then someone opens the door and then I get my Kong off the floor and I carry it all over the place. Sometimes someone throws it and I go get it. Sometimes someone throws it in the water and I swim and get it. But mostly I just carry it. Other dogs get jealous when they see it but I never let them have it. And sometimes I drop it and nobody notices until we are far away from it and then they say "Where's your Kong?" in this excited voice and I go racing back to where I left it and then bring it back. This happens a lot and then sometimes my people want to help me carry it but usually I don't want them to carry it. I LOVE MY KONG !!!!!!!!!! KONG !! KONG !! KOOOONNNNGGGGG!!!!
